Saving The Frome Salmon from Extinction : Charles Dutton
There are 200 true chalk streams world-wide.
The Frome and the Piddle are two of only six such rivers worldwide that still have a run of Atlantic Salmon – but their numbers are declining catastrophically.
Charles is part of a group who, over the last seven years have started a “Noah’s Ark” project in an attempt to preserve our Chalk Stream’s dwindling fish stocks.
Come and find out how they are doing it.
The dedication and ingenuity of this team of volunteers is truly inspirational.
There is no charge for this talk, but a proportion of bar profits will go to supporting this project.
