When their Mum, Ellie, sadly passed away due to cancer, her young daughters, Daisy and Poppy decided to thank the Weldmar Hospice for looking after their mother. So throughout May they undertook the 100k challenge. Their goal was to walk/run 100km. In the end they completed 209km (70km running / 139km walking) during 48 activities over 39 hours. They climbed a total of 2795m (the equivalent of Ben Nevis twice!). The total raised for the Weldmar Hospice was over £10,500!

To applaud their amazing achievement a large crowd of villagers turned out to welcome them as they entered Sydling at the end of their final hike.
